GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL WIN SENIOR CUP.
Tiie annual school championship Hf e . saving competitions conducted by the Jjort'i Taranaki Head Centre of the Koyal Life-Saving Society were commenced at the New Plymouth salt water baths last week. The senior cup presented by the society to be competed for by teams from the secondary schools of laraiiaki was won by a team from the i\ew Plymouth Girls' High School, their work being of a i ery high standard. The junior competition, in which primary school teams compete, is to be decided this week, and the final will take place on Inday afternoon.
