The Kowhai was scheduled to leave Dunc-dln yesterday for New Plymouth, vis Wellington, picking up the Corrina'3 cargo from those ports, for here. She should reach here about Thursday. THE BADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell is due from Wellington tonight. She brings * full cargo of general merchandise and returns to Wellington on Wednesday afternoon. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa is due as usual to-day, and will sail for the north again to-night. THE WALLSEND. The Wallaend, which is coming from Adelaide with phosphates, is due to put in an appearance any time now. THE THRASHES. It is not yet known whether tho Thrasher loads at this port. In the meantime trouble Is being experienced in keeping a full crew. BADEN POWELL IN DIFFICULTIES. Per Press Association. Wellington, March ID. The coastal steamer Baden Powell, which left Lyttelton on Friday, met with heavy weather and ran short of coal. All the wooden fittings available went into the furnaces and the hatches wore about to follow when the weather improved and sho managed to make port yesterday. If the engines had stopped and the vessel broached to there might have been a disaster. A RECORD RUN. Per Press Association. Wellington, March 1».
