WEDDING.
LEECE-HUNTER. A pretty and a popular wedding was celebrated on Wednesday at the residence of Mrs Moore Hunter, of Mir B. H. Leece and Miss Belle Hunter, daughter of Mrs Moore Hunter, of Hawera. • The' ceremony was celebrated by Rev. 11. B. Gray. The bride' (who was given away Ly her brother, <Mr Alex. Hunter, was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Leece and Miss M. Burr, and four flower girls—little Misses N. and L. .Hunter, I. Blyth and B. Blair, nieces of the bride)-—looked charming in a pretty gown of white satin with overdress of silver lace and tissue, most' : becomingly arranged with knots of orange blossom. She carried a lovely bouquet'- of pink hydrangea and white bouvardia -and maidenhair, fern. Miss Leece was dressed in'grey crepe de chine, ■-, and Miss Burr-.-in' f'flowered georgette and pale pink hat.- Both j carried bouquets of pink roses and. carnation?. The flower girls looked dainty in pink georgette, with: silver tissue tunics and white shoes. They all carried little crooks. Mrs Hunter wore a black corded silk costume with block hat. Lieut. T. A. Blyth was best man, and Mr Waddell (Waitara) groomsman. After the ceremony a reception was held at (he residence, "Burnbrae." The toast of the bride arid bridegroom was proposed by Rev. H. B. Gray, the bridesmaids by Lieut. Blyth, and the bride's parents by Mr K. Foster. The happy couple left by motor on a tour in the north, speeded by the good wishes of all. —Star.
