The New York Evening Post's Washington correspondent states that President Wilson returns to France strengthened in his position with the Allies, dospite senatorial objections to-the League of Nations. Europe's statesmen must see there is an influential group of American statesmen who favor the United States re-', suming its policy of isolation. Europe will, therefore, .be compelled to assume America's standards of morality and justice in her international relations, in I order to assure the United States' entrance into any agreement involving the surrender of her isolation.—Ans.
