4 TRANSPORT TROUBLE. Melbourne, March 9 Gunner G. Yates, a member of the House of Representatives, who was arrested by the military for acting as leader in a demonstration on board the transport Somali at Adelaide, in which the men, it is alleged, threatened to seize the ship unless their demands were granted, has been sentenced to 60 days' detention, with a recommendation to mercy on the ground of the relaxed conditions of discipline aboard the vessel. >=Aiu and N.Z, Cablft Aggo^
