RETURNING SOLDIERS.
SEVERAL SHIPS EXPECTED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Lust Night. The Hororata is due at Wellington on March K5. Of her draft of 1503 men 1151 arc 1014-15 men. The troopship Athenic is due at Wellington on March 17, and the Ajana is due at Auckland on March 20. Members of the Pioneer Battalion of the New Zealand Division, comprising Maori troops, left England on the Westmoreland rm "February 28, and are dun to reach the Dominion about the second week in April. THE PORT MELBOURNE. Auckland, Last Niglit. The public health authorities have instructed the district health officer to disinfect soldiers' kits on the Port Melbourne and to pass all men through an inhalation chamber. This is being carried out to-night, and the port officer says the work should be finished by 7.30 to-mor-ro# morning, and the ship then brought to the wharf and the men medically boarded. The southern men will be leaving by a special train at 7.30 to-morrow . evenißg.
