Complete victory was assured for the Bolsheviks, as the Allies were unwilling to intervene. The military situation was satisfactory. There were four tasks ahead—to occupy the Murman-Aroliangel coasts, seize the liver exits to the Black Sea, reach the Prussian frontier, and chase the enemy beyoiid the Urals. He concluded: "We shall achieve these at any cost." A Bolshevik' communique states that at Riga all meti up to 47 and officers to •M have been called up.
