INQUIRY INTO RUNNING AT HAMILTON. Hamilton, March 4. An inquiry was held by the judicial committee of the Hamilton Racing Club after the Hurdle Race yesterday regarding the running of Thrace'on the two days. After hearing statements by E. W* Alison, the owner, and Henderson, the jockey, it was decided that though the evidence was not satisfactory it was r,ot sufficientJto justify further action. In the evening a further meeting of the committee considered Alison's statements at the earlier inquiry. OPUNAKK RACES. Madam Ristori's official weight in the St. Patrick's Handicap is 7.13. A new departure as to racing was noticed at Wiugatui on Thursday last.
