THE EXPELLED FIRE BRIGADE, j i By Telegraph.—Press Association. ' Wellington, Last N?ght. Intimation has been received in Wei lington: to the effect that the Wellingta' Municipal Fire Brigade had been expelled from the Fire Brigades' Association because it altered the design of the association's service medal. It is stated here that the local brigade resigned from the association in October hut because there was nothing to be gained by continuing l membership. Members Btate it is difficult to see how it could be expelled from a body to which it did not belong. It is admitted that a new service medal has been struck.
