ADULTERATED MILK. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchureh, March 4, In tlio Magistrate's "Court, Richard Mugford, dairyman, was fined £lO and costs on two charges of having sold adulterated inilk.~The defence was that the milk was sold by a servant. The magistrate said the excuse was insufficient Children hjd to he protected, and the offence was particularly serious as the analysis showed that 2o per cent of butter-fat had been extracted. CHRISTCHURCH CUSTOMS. Christchureh, Last Night. The customs and beer duties for Christchureh for the last month showed an increase of £22,137 over the receipts for January. THE ANCONIA DIP CASE. Auckland, Last Night. The Anconia dip ease was continued to-day with the hearing of evidence for the Crown.
