BAVARIAN SITUATION.
SEPARATION FROM GERMANY. STRIKES AND COUNTER-STRIKES. Rotterdam, March 2. Herrcn Haast aud Barth, Independent Socialists, belonging to the first revolutionary Government in Berlin, have arrived at Munich and are actively participating in the movement for the separation of Bavaria from the remainder o! Germany. The Spartacist plan to paralyse the National Assembly by isolating Weimar has b?en achieved for the time being, as the railway communication has been cut. A general strike of laborers in tlio mining and industrial a.Tc:u of Thuringia, Anhalt, and Saxony has been proclaimed, including transport and lighting. On the other hand officials, doctors, and chemist,.have struck as a counter-demonstration Meanwhile, whilst the Majority and Independent Socialists of Bavaria are endeavoring to find a common basis for action, the Spartacists are e.r!mmJsterino Munich r.;>. the strict Bokhevicit pattern' .it.-, are allocated on the bash of double rations for laborers compared with the bourgeoisie.
