LIVE STOCK SALES. ADDINGTON. Christehurch, Feb. 20. At the Addington market to-day there were fairly large yarding!) of stock. There was little demand, for store cattle. Btore Sheep—Best 2-tootli ewe 3 30s to 34a fld, ordinary 2-tooth ewes 25s to 28s, Id, 2, 4, and (i-t,oath ewes 2fls to 365, best 4, (i, and 8-tooth ewes 27s to 2fls 9d, rough 4, 6, and S-tooth c.wes 23s to 2(is 3d, G and 8-tootli ewes 20s 7d to 24s Id, 2-tooth wethers 27s to 295, 4 and ti-tooth wethers 23s to 265, best rape lambs 21a to 24s 9d, lighter lambs 15s to 20s Gd, cull lambs 0s to 14s 6d, ewe lambs 24s 6d. Fat Lambs—Prime 27s 6d to 32s 4d, medium 24s 6d to 275, lighter 18s 9d to S-ls. Fat sheep—Extra prime wethers to 475, prime 30s to 40s, lighter 28a lid to 33s fid, extra prime ewes 41s, prime 33s to 35s 6d, medium 29s to 32s 6d, lighter 21s Cd to 28s fld. Fat cattle—Extra prime steers to 22s fid, prime £lO 2s Od to £l9 os, ordinary £l4 to £ls 10s, extra prime heifers to £lO 10s, prime .£l2 to £ls 10s, extra prime cows .£lO 15s, prime cows £l3 to £ls, ordinary £9 to £l2 10s. Store cattle —Eighteen-month steers £5 10s, 18-month heifers £5 3s 6d, 2year steers £7 7a 6d, dry cows £5 to £9, heavy bulls £lO to £l9, lighter bulls £5 to £9 10s, dairy cows £9 to £lO 15s. Fat pigs—Choppers £5 to £8 12s Od, extra heavy baeoners £8 10s, heavy baconers £7 to £7 15s, lighter baeoners £5 10s to £li 10s (equal to lOd to IOJd per lb), large porkers .£3 15s to £4 15s, lighter porkers £3 5s to £3 10s (equal to 13J to lid per lb). Store pigs—Extra good medium stores 54s to 655, smaller stores 35s to 425, weanevs 13s to 255. BURN,SIDE MARKET. Dunedi,n Feb. 20. At the Burnside market best bullocks made £2O to £22 17s Gd, prime £lB to £l9 12s Od, medium £ls 10s to £l7 15s, prime cows and heifers £l4 10s to £lO, others £lO 10s to £l3. Sheep—Prime heavy wethers 4Ss to 545, prime 42s lid to 40s, medium 35s Od to 41s 9d, others 29s upwards, prime heavy ewes 39s lid to 445, prime 35s to BSs 6d, others 25s upwards. Lambs —Freezing buyers were operating cautiously owing to lambs not killing I nut to expectations. Pigs—A moderate yarding sold at late | prices.
