TELEGRAPHIC SHIPPING. SAILED. Wellington, February 28.—Tropic, 10.25 a.m.. for Brisbane. Wellington, February 28. —Ayrshire, 6.25 p.m., for London. THE CORLNNA, The Corinna, which arrved yesterday morning, brought 150 tons ut' cargo from Wellington, and after landing it, loads 12,000 crates of cheese. The vessel is oxpected to leave this afternoon for Wellington, trom which port it goes south to Dunedln. THE KITTAWA. The Union Company's Kittawa, which loaded coal at Greymouth for Wellington and New Plymouth, is scheduled to lewo Wellington at 11 a.m. to-day She should therefore reach here to-morrow, and commence discharging first ihing on Monday morning. THE IIADEN POWELL. The Baden Powell reached New Plymouth oarly yesterday morning. She brought 180 tons of cargo fvow Wellington. After loading outward cargo the vessel goes to Wellington and Lyttelton, leaving this alternoou. THE RARAWA. The Rarawa arrived from the north early, and sailed again for Onehunga at the usual time. ! MISHAP AT WAITARA | CAUSES CHANCE IN MATATUA'S j MOVEMENTS. A breakdown occurred early yesterday mornj ing in the machinery ot tliu small steamer We- ; tore, which is used to tow the meat barges in and out of the Waitara River. The liner Mata- : tua, which left New Plymouth on Thursday morning, was loading at the time, and it was thoughf the Baden Powell might be engaged to replace the Wetere, the repairs to which were expected to be finished Inst night. The Matatua was advised, however, to proceed to Wanganul yesterday afternoon, and return to; Waitara after taking her consignment from the former port. She was, however, still at anchor off Waitara last evening. Another liner is due off Wanganui on Monday to load wool.
