REFERENDUM PROPOSED. Washington, Feb. 25. A Bill has been introduced in the Lower House providing for a popular referendum vote on the adoption or rejection of the constitution of the League of Nations. Cable Assoc. NEWSPAPER COMMENTS. New York, Feb. 25. The New York newspapers, commencing on President Wilson's Boston Bpeech, point out that President W i! ,;n n is prepared to fight against the opponents of the League of Nations in the Senate. The newspapers declare that tlio President, has a majority of the people in the United States supporting liim. One Republican paper says: "Americans shoul be nationalists, not internationalists. as Presidlent Wilson would have them.'' —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc.
