The forged notef are on pink colored paper, but the printing has a chocolate tinge, and la not nearly so clear as the genuine notes, and the paper is not watermarked. All the forgeries whioli have come to light «o far bear the same mimlbcr 665171, and purport to be signed by L. M. Little, with the dato June Ist, 1917. The public car. easily protect themselves by refusing the acceptance of any pink Bar.lt of New Zealand notes, unless watermarked Bank of New Zealand, which is readily observable on holding the note up to the light.
