There was a big crowd, and the going was good. Totalisator receipts were £22,050, as compared with £19,357 for the corresponding day of last year. In the Hartgill Memorial Handicap the riders wore a crepe band on the arm in memory of the late W. H. Hartgill, who was judge for, and a piominent member of, the club. Results:
