PUBLIC NOTICES. BOROUGH 01? NEW PLYMOUTH. |N THE MATTER of "The Tramways Act 1908" the Council of the Borough of New Plymouth hereby gives notice: 1. THAT it intends to make application to the Governor-General in Council for an Order, amending "The New Plymouth Tramway Order Ni>. 1," wade by the Governor m Council on the 13th day of July 1914 (which authorised the construction of a tramway on the overhead trolley electric system in the said Borough), by authorising the making of structural alterations to the entrance and exits of the cars used on the said Tramway for the purpose of enabling the said Council to adopt the system of operating the said cars commonly known as the ''one-man" system. 2. Plans; • Lougtitudinal sections and cross sections showing the nature of the work proposed to be undertaken, together with a description thereof and also a draft of the Order-in-Council proposed to be submitted to the Governor-General for approval have been prepared by the Council and are deposited, and will remain open for public inspection at the office of the Town I Clerk, Liardet Street, New Plymouth, during office hours, for the period of four weeks following the first publication of this notice pn the 20th day of February 1919.
