Prices for f.f.m. ewes were firmer than last sales. Lambs sold well. A small pen of extra choice 2-tooth Romney ewes, from Mr. Mustapich, Papakura, realised £3 Is, and a pen from the samu vendor of 4-tooth to f.f.m. ewes made the high price of £3 10s, 2 and 4-tooth wethers £1 3s to £1 8s 6d, shorn lambs 9a to 14s, woolly lambs 8s to las Gd. j At Westfield fat stock market beef was penned in average numbers. At Waiuku, dairy cows and heifers brought £9 to £l3 ss, bulls £7 to £ls, empty cows and heifers £6 to £8 17s 6d, fat cows £9 to £l4, fat steers £l3 to £l6 ss, calves £1 to £2 6s, yearling to 18-month heifers £3 15s to £0 ss, ditto steers £4 10s to £0 15s, weaner pigs 15s to £1 ss.
