AUCKLAND MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report; — At our annual sheep fair at Westfield we report a most successful sale. Prices for f.f.m. ewes were firmer than last sales. Lambs sold well. Two-tooth ewes £1 2s to £1 9s (id, 4 and 6-tooth ewes £1 4s to £1 8s 9d, f.f.m. ewes £1 2s to £1 7s, f.m. ewes 18s to £1 3s 9d, f.m. to broken 13s to 17s 6d. A small pen of extra choice 2-tooth Romney ewes, from Mr. Mustapich, Papakura, realised £3 Is, and a pen from the samu vendor of 4-tooth to f.f.m. ewes made the high price of £3 10s, 2 and 4-tooth wethers £1 3s to £1 8s 6d, shorn lambs 9a to 14s, woolly lambs 8s to las Gd. j At Westfield fat stock market beef was penned in average numbers. Sheep: Best wethers £1 13s to £1 18s 6d, medium wethers £1 9s 6d to £1 12s 6d, 2-tooth and small wethers £1 3s to £1 93 3d, best ewes £1 8s to £1 13s, one small pen extra heavy ewes sold to £2, medium 7s Od, small ewes 18s to £1 2s, aged and best £1 4s to £1 9s 9d, medium lamhs inferior ewes lis 6d to 17s. Lambs: 18s to £1 3s 9d, small lambs 13s to 17s 9d. Pigs: Heavy baconers £4 13s to £5 12s 6d, small choppers and light baconers £4 to £4 10s, large porkers £3 to £3 15s, medium £2 5s to £2 17s Gd, small 28s to £2 2s 6d, weaners 19s 6d to 255.

At Waiuku, dairy cows and heifers brought £9 to £l3 ss, bulls £7 to £ls, empty cows and heifers £6 to £8 17s 6d, fat cows £9 to £l4, fat steers £l3 to £l6 ss, calves £1 to £2 6s, yearling to 18-month heifers £3 15s to £0 ss, ditto steers £4 10s to £0 15s, weaner pigs 15s to £1 ss.
