THE PEOPLES'. •JEWEL CARMEN IN "THE KINGDOM OF LOVE." To-night Jewel Carmen appears in a stirring portrayal of life iif the Klondyke entitled "The Kingdom of Love." The beautiful heroine offers herself to the highest bidder to save her dying mother. The minister who loves her outbids everyone to save her, but is unable to pay —what happens? The programme includes the latest Sunshine comedy "Are Married Policemen Safe?" EVERYBODY'S. WILLIAM DESMOND IN "THE SUDDEN GENTLEMAN." The popular athletic film artist William Desmond, stars at Everybody's tonight and to-morrow in "The Sudden Gentleman," a Triangle picture that Ims pride of place there on the new programme. The film is a romance, and, as may be gathered from the title, the hero comes into an unexpected inheritance. First the scene is laid in Old Ireland, where Garry is a light-hearted flirter and fighter. From America he is left a fortune and a trusteeship for a lovely girl. He is a clodhopper, and u scheme is set on foot to trap him. This scheme brings along sundry misunderstandings in its train, but everything is smoothed out before the finis comes. The picture is well supported, both by other films and by musical selections .
