At the C.E.M.S. Club, Eltham, on Fri» day last, a number of returned soldiers were entertained at a social and welcomed home, Mr T. C. .Stunner? presiding. Addresses were given by Hon. W. Carncrosfi, the Mayor (Mr T. B. Crump) and Mr G. H. fiuekeridjre, interspersed with a most enjoyable musical programme and some clever conjuring by Mr H H. Bl_ake. Refreshments were supplied by tlie ladies.
