GERMAN HOSTILITIES CONTINUED. DESPITE THE ARMISTICE. Received Feb. 22, 5.5 p.m. Warsaw, Feb. 20. A telephone message from Posen states that, notwithstanding the armistice, the Germans continued their artillery fire and infantry attacks on the whole of the Posen front.—Reuter.
ALLIES RECOGNISE GOVERNMENT. Received Feb. 23, 5.5 p.m. Paris, Feb. 21. The Allies have decided to recognise the Polish Government, with Paderewskj as Premier.—Reuter.
