Plain sewing, by girl under 12: K. •Harris (Wellington) 1. JUVENILE JUDGING. There, was keen interest maintained by the boys in the Juvenile Judging competition, over 30 boys competing. The lads showed an intelligent interest in their work. Mr F. Kiuiford was the judge and will announce the results in a day or two- This competition should prove of groat educational value to the lads, particularly as Mr Hansford marked on the competition cards the respective points, explaining to the lads why he did so. PRIZE ESSAY COMPETITION. There were 3S I competitors in the Priw Essay Competition, the majority lu.utjng from Stratford, other schools represented being Cardiff and Mata.
