SOCIALIST CONFERENCE.
FRENCH PREMIER SYMPATHETIC Paris, Feb. 17. Branting has communicated to M. Clemenceau the results of the Berne Socialist Conference. He stated lie was very satisfied with the interview with Mr Clemenceau, who was friendly and sympathetic. Branting expressed the opinion that in a few months the International Labor Party would be allowed to place their views before the Labor Legislation Committee, and later they might be asked to submit tluir ideas to the League of Nations.—Reuter.
