RECONSTRUCTION AND RESTORATION. ESTIMATE OF COST. Received Feb. 20, 1.30 a.m. Paris, Feb. 16. M. Loucheur, Minister of Industrial Reconstruction, informed the Senate that £300,000,000 was necessary to restore the Department du Nord and the Pas de Calais, The restoration of mines would take a decade and cost £80,000,000. The coal output in 1910 would be 3000 tons, as compared with 75,000 tons previous to the war.—Aus. and N.Z. Cable Assoc,
