The executive of the Patriotic Asso« tiation decided to-day to secure an area of land near the City for sub-division into small sections for returned soldiers, partially or totally! permanently disabled. The proposal is to erect cottages on sections and provide the means of r earning a livelihood, such as bee-keeping, poultry raising, etc. It is estimated one hundred thousand pounds will be r«nuired for the scheme. The Cltims .; Poard of Association will investigate the best method of carrying out the ■'eheme. The Association's future Mt!- ( vitiea will also Include provision for re- , lief of dependents of deceased soldiers.
