ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
CRUSHED ON THE RAILWAY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Hamilton, Feb. 12. Charles Harper, aged 20, was killed at the New Zealand Dairy Association Factory at Frankton Junction. He was crushed between the butter wagon and the door. No one saw the accident. •His duties did not take him to where he was killed. AN INFANT'S DEATH. Nelson, Yesterday. An inquest into the death of a male child revealed that it was born in a: motor car en route from the Murchison j district to the Nelson hospital. The other occupants were unaware of the event. A verdict was recorded that death was due to want of proper attention at the child's birth. A YOUNG LADY BROWNED. Nelson, Last Night. Ethel Robinson, a governess, was drowned in the Maitai river this morning white bathing alone. A marked forehead gives the impression that deceased dived in shallow water Deceased came- from Oamaru.
