OTAGO DRIVERS' DISPUTE. By Telejraph.—Prm Aasechtija. Dimedin. Feb. 8. The Otago Drivers' Union decided tp give employers through the press one week's notice with a view of considering t'ne position regarding the dispute. The union also affirmed its confidence in the Federation. THE DRIVERS' DISPUTE. Auckland, Feb. 8. The position in regard to the drivers' dispute is brighter to-day. It is understood (lie men and employers are conferring and a more conciliatory tone seems noticeable. The boycott system proposed by the men apparently was nbt meant to be absolute, the idea being, that 110 objection should be made to driving goods for the firms concerned, but that no aid should be given either in loading or unloading. No work lias yet been received that the Advisory Board of the Transport Workers' Federation has confirmed the proposed boycott.
