The secretary of the Egmont A. and P. Association reports having paid a profitable visit to the Fielding Show. Hewas successful in inducing breeders (especii.ly those who had been fortunate to secure prizes at Jeilding) to enter their' stock for the Ilawera Show. It is expected that many old friends wlio have been absent for some years, will a"ain be seen in the show ring at Hawera Competition is certain in all classes, and in some will be particularly keen! From present appearances the society's show this year should prove a record one. The general opinion among agriculturalists is that having tried the rest they will now come back to the best—Hawera. 1
