ENTERTAINMENTS.

...HE GREAT HENRI FRENCH, There was not one dull moment at the Good Templar Hall when the great Henri French gave, another of iii 9 versatile and attractive entertainments, which delighted—and at times completely bewildered —his audience. His marvellous evolutions on wheels, whether it be skating on wheels or balancing on the big wheel or waggon wheels, evoked unstinted applause, which was redoubled when he made his sensa , .onal jump. His conjuring and juggling are little short of miraculous, a special item being the balancing of three glass tins and eggs on a board on top of a stick. With another stick he knocks the board away, when the tins fly to the floor and an egg is placed in each His rifle shooting is sensational, proving him a deadly marksman. Tho nonchalant manner in which he splits a card held by an assistant, or flicks a lighted cigarette from her mouth, give a decided thrill. He is equally at home with the rifle in any posture. Jacko, the monkey's, quaint juggling tricks, the parrot's clever tumbling, ore only a few items in an entertainment that should not be missed. A complete change of programme will be given to-night, when a feature will be a new style of drawing with rags, producing a very pretty effect.
