ADMIRAL JELLICOE'S VISIT.

EXTENDED TO NEW ZEALAND. EXPERTS TO ASSIST AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE. Received Feb. 3, 7.65 pjn. London, Jan. 31. Commander Sawbridge, an Admiralty expert in anti-submarine devices, is accompanying Admiral Jellicoe for the purpose of co-operating with Commander Calvert, officer of the New Zealand, in devising a schemu for Australasian Bubmarine defences. It is understood that the Admiralty attaches supreme importance to submarines, which are destined to become Australia's first line of defence.

An Admiralty expert in naval aeronautics is also joining Admiral Jellicoe in Australia for ihe purpose of organising aircraft defences in co-operation with the Commonwealth. —Aus. N.&. Cable Assoc.
