REDUCING THE NAVAL PROGRAMME.
New York, Feb. 2. The Naval Committee of the House of Representatives approved the threeyear naval programme with a reduction of the battleships from 10 to"*ten, each to cost not more than 21 million dollars. Ten scout cruisers will also be built/ Aus.-N Z. Cable Asaoc.
