BOLSHEVISM.
to the Editor Sir, —Allow m» to thank you for your article on the above, whieli appeared in your issue of January 29 It is we'll and strongly put, and is most certainjy opportune Nfcver in the history of the human race has there been move need a fearless stand, and a bold, outspokenness in the interests ot wise and sane procedure. Bolshevism has shown itself to be the most insinuating and destructive socialistic madness that ever assailed human well being. These Bolsheviks, superflends and terrorists won have their occupation gons the moment they listened to reason They are destroyers of the worst type, who know not how to handle constructive tools, but revei in the use of implements that strike terror into tho hearts of the people. A recent cable stated tuat the Bolshevik Commissioner in Finland signed over eigilt thousand death warrants, and his successor waa dismissed because he could not maintain the same average. That is an instance of their lust for blood The above is a short quotation from yoar leading article just mentioned I notice that your correspondent, lir. j3 Simpson, advises your readers not to believe what is told us about these madmen in the cablegrams Does Mr. Simpson look tor right, justice and iiuman progress from Socialistic madness ? It looks very like it One can tell where i he is by the way he pats Mt. Frank Beii oa iY.i buck for disbelieving the cable I transmitters, an<?. attempting to sympathetically give an account of what 1 these madmen ''liave not done." it is not a question of what these madmen "have not done" but rather what they have done, and are thirsting to do if they get the power. It is all very well for Mr I'rank Bell and Mr J It. Simp son to write platitudes of sympathetic mush on behalf of infatuated madmen, and at the same time interlard their twaddle with harmful insinuations and reflections on the British Empire, as if it were a disgraceful place tor them to live m How. what is this Earns British Empire but the very firsc of nations, the greatest and ihc best that ever ex tote, op the surface of thia globe ? But Messrs. Bell and Simpson Hi.',6 nothing but sneerfig scorn for the beat on earth, and sympathetic puling and mewing for madmen J—-I am, etc., J. 0. YAYLGK, ijeppertot:, January 30, 1919
