On the information of the police, Douglas Lobb was charged with, on January 18, riding a motor cycle over tiie intersection of Brougham and Devon streets ai 11 pm. at a speed greater than 12 miles an hour, Defendant pleaded guilty and was lined 10s (costs 7s). For riding a motor cycle in Devon street on the same date and at tiie same time, defendant was also fined 10s (costs 7s). On the information of the assistant borough inspector (Mr E. C. King), Bruce Joll, for riding a motor cycle, with a sidecar attached, in Devon street, at night without a light, was lined 10s (costs 7s) Roy Parkin was fined 5s (cost 3 is) for driving a motor lorry at night without a light Oswald Coleman and Ebenezer Wooldridge were each lined 53 (costs 7s) for leaving motor cars standing in the street at night without having proper lights thereon. Harper Leppt-r, for driving a motor car past a tram car, on the near side, while the car was stopping to pick up or set down passengers, was fined 00s (costs 12s). For cycling on the footpath in Pov.derham street, Henry Hall was fined Ub (costs 7s)
