QUARANTINE ACCOMMODATION.

FOR BIG BATCHES OF MEN. jiy Xs.iegrs.ph.—Press Ascoci&tion. Wellington, Last Night. The Government does not apprehend any serious trouble about accommodation at quarantine stations being adequate for the numbers of men who may have to be maintained there in the course of the next few months. Such large bodies of troops are coming back in the course of this time that it is conceivable .. that, the existing accommodation in the buildings at these stations might be taxed in the event of whole drafts having to be quarantined. It is hoped, of course, that this may never be necessary, but if there should be more men sent ashore than the buildings can accommodate the Defence Department can very quickly provide canvas accommodation. As it is tlie summer season this sort of shelter would not be unsuitable.
