The Ilriton, ■with a largo draft of returning soldiers, arrived r.i Lytfceiton to-day, anchoring just inside the heads. The vessel was held for fumigation, and disembarkation was postponed till tomorrow. Major SV Q, Sinclair, medical oll'icer on the transport Briton, died suddenly on Sunday and wus buried ut sea. The 1 umigation of tlie vessel was rendered necessary on account of two eases of influenza being aboard.
