BELGIUM.
1 TERRIFIC EXPLOSIONS. DISGUISED GERMANS ARRESTED. Received Jan. 25, 12.30 a.w. London, Jan. 22. A series of terrific explosions alarmed the Client countryside, due to a munition dump being blown up and destroying two kilometres of the main Ostend-Brussels railway. The peasants in the adjoining villages fled terrified. Several Germans have been arrested near Mons disguised as women. A British sentry shot a German who was attempting to escape.— Aug. N.Z.
