There is a Difference in the Quality of Basic Superphosphate. A Grade Basic Superphosphate, £9 ss'per.tpn, contains a very large proportion of soluble Phosphates. B Grade Basic Superphosphate, £7 15s per ton, is entirely insoluble. At the Stratford Experimental Farm lust season, Sweden ■ * grown with A QUALITY Basic superphosphate gave the '-nd heaviest crop. I have also received excellent reports, from farmers who have applied it as a top-dressing for pastures. B Grade Basic Superphosphate is composed entirely of INSOLUBLE PHOSPHATES and consequently cannot be expected to give anything like as satisfactory results, and IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR ROOT CROPS OR WHERE A QUICK GROWTH IS DESIRED. When comparing prices this must be borne in, mind. Both grades on sale by NEWTON KING, NEW PLYMOUTH, STRATFORD AND INGLKWOOD
