ONE 810 ONION OPPOSED. Beceived Jan. 22, 11.40 pm. Sydney, Jan. 22. L'udd, on a second similar charge of seditious utterance was fined £SO. A number of labor leaders opposed the extreme section, and strongly condemn the one big union proposal. Thoy declare it involves Bolshevism, revolution, and anarchy rule by the extremists. A ballot of the Australian Workers' Union throughout the Commonwealth decided by a substantial majority in favor of arbitration as opposed to direct action for the future policy of the union. The Australian Labor Party has chosen Mr. Eyan, Queensland Premier, now eu route to England, and Mr. Anstey, Federal legislator, at present in England, to represent Australia at the International Laibor Conference to be held at Lausanne coincident with tho Peace Conference.— Aus.
