At the Supreme Court, Charles Erie Spurgeon, who appeared for sentence for the theft of a cheque, was ordered to b» detained for eighteen months for reform mative purposes. Donnelly Paipai, found guilty of tha theft of a gig, was admitted to probation 'for six months.
