DEATH OF PRINCE JOHN.
| 'ERIOD OP COURT MOURNING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The Governor-General has received official information that, owing to the death o£ Prince John, the King has commanded the representatives of the Sovereign throughout the Empire to refrain from attending public; functions until after January 2G. It is also announced that the Court will go into mourning from January 20 to February 19, and into half-mourning for a further period of fourteen days-
