WAR UTTERANCES OF WILHELM. The following utterances of tlie Kaiser during the war period are of particular (and amusing) interest now:— In the year 1915 the German ruler laid: "Our brave soldiers have shown themselves to be invincible in battle against nearly the whole world. The war drama Is now coming to its close." To the King of the Senussi he said: — "Our common enemies, whom Allah will annihilate to the last man, shall By before thee. So be it." Regarding the United States, the Emperor declared:— "America had better look out after the war. I shall stand no nonsense from the Americans. My destructive sword has crushed the Russians. In 1916 the Emperor said:— "The world was prepared for anything but a victory of the German fleet over the British fleet. In <917 the head oi the German nation said:—

"Tf the enemy does not want peace, then we must bring peace by battering in with iron fist and shining sword the doors of those who will not have peace.
