MISSING CANADIANS BE-APPEAR. 1500 DISCOVERED IN GERMANY. CONNUBIAL TANGLES TO UNRAVEL Received Jan. 20, 12.30 a.m. 1 Ottawa, Jan. 17 There are 1500 Canadian soldiers who were reported as missing and presum* ably dead, but have been discovered alivo in Germany sinciTTEe armistice. Many have been missing since the second battle at Ypres- They have Been confined in German prisons and not allowed to communicate with friends. In a number of cases tbeir wives have remarried It is anticipated that legislation will be shortly introduced to settle the status of these connubial tangles.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assoc.
