TO PREVENT NECESSITY OF GOLD TRANSFER Received Jan. 17, 7.50 p.m. New York, -Tan. 16. The Now York Times' Washington correspondent states that the establishment of a gold reserve fund of a maximum of 500.000,000 dollars for the purpose uf '.iciiitating foreign excTmrige transactions, eliminating the necessity of shipments of sold between the countries, is being planned by the United State? and the Allies financial adviser?.
