At the condition of the Manchester Handicap, run at Feilding on Saturday, there was a demonstration against the Judge (ilr J. 11. lVrrett) in placing Bronk Delaval second in tint event. Mr Perrett was quickly convinced that he had made a r.iistake, and 011 returning to the judse's box and hoisting Rewi Poto's number, came in for a round of cheers. The incident was regrettable, as a similar demonstration occu'Ted at the Ashhurst meeting in connexion with Comment and Bronk IX'laval, but on that occasion Air Perretfs platings were correct. —Manavatu Standard.
