The delegates considered the Polish question, and decided on the manner of sen.'ing reinforcements for Polish trcop». The delegates also discussed the question of German commercial shipping, which will be us»d by the Allies as compensation for tonnage sunk by the submarines.
They also considered the question of German ports, which it is contemplated to occupy as a guarantee for carrying out the anrustice and as a punishment for the obstructions hitherto raised by Germany. Other qu?.-. Lions discussed included the Germans' gold reserve and victualling Germany. THE ALLIES' DETERMINATION. Received Jan. 5.5 p.m. Pari 8, Jan. 13. In connection with Germany it is understood Marshal Foch lug been granted extended powers of utilising the ports, owing to the evidence given to the Council of Germany's s'imsiess in seeking to evade conditions whenever possible.
