Successful applicants will bo required to pass a Medical Examination. The rntes of pay and allowances of private soldiers will be as under: — (a) 5s per day with lodgings and rations. (b) A married allowance of Is per day. (c) A children's allowance of 9d per day for each child under 10 up to a maximum of 2s 3d per day.
