PLAYERS IN SEMI-FINALS. Auckland, Last night. Section play in the full rink championship of the Dominion Bowling Tournament concluded to-day. The players qualifying for the semi-finals are: Section A.—Vugler (Mt Eden) and Pilkington (.Whitiora). Section B.—Not available. Section C-—Parsons (Ponsonby), Tnia-ott (Waikino), Churchward (Wellingl. ) Section T)—Wolffe (United), Huston (G-sbcrne), Mclntyre (Carlton), Harrawav (Dunedin), McLeod '(Ponsonby). Section E—Wylie (Tehiwi) and Stephens (Kelburn) Section F.—Henderson (Lyttelton), and Smart (New Plymouth). Section G—Kilgour (Carlton), Sandston (Christchurch), and Potter (Wellington).
Section H.--Grav (Auckland), Jurv (Karangahake), Martin "(Hataitai), Front (Wellington).
The following shows the position of the Siratfonl loams in each secction of the Pairs Championship;— Section A: R. Morison won 1 and lost 4. Section E; McDonald won 1 lost 4. Section C: CI. Smart won 1 lost 4. Section II: P. Skoglund won 1 lost 4. Section J: s". Sharp won 3 lost 2. Section K: W. Harris won 1 lost 4. Section L: N. J. King won i lost 4. Section M: won 3 lost 2.
Initio full rink play, section A saw W. Frank's ; C !uh mwp 25 against Claridge 21. Section J! also raw a win to N. J. King 19 v Wright 12. G, Smart apparently had no lnc.k in Section E, scoring 1!) against Wylio's 23: whilst Sharp in Section 11 struck trouble in his bout against Brookes, the latter scoring 21 whilst Sharp gathered in 12. Two New Plymouth teams are engaged and both scored in the initial round. In Section I'j Mcleod, Firth, Fookes, and A. K. Smart K) totalled in against Forest 12; whilst in Section F, Luseomlie, Hill, Johnston, and H. Smart (s.) totalled 19 against 11 registered by Jury.
