T.J.C. COMMITTEE MEETING.
The committee of the T.J.C. met last night. Mr. L. A i\olan presided, and there were also present: Messrs W. C. Weston, Nicoll, G Fraser, A. Alexander, F. Blundoll, E. Sole, D J Hughes, B. H. Chaney, and N King. The New Plymouth High School Board of Governors wrote thanking the club for the use of their buildings for school purposes for the past two and a-half years.
In connection with the forthcoming meeting in February, a number of important matters were dealt with. It was decided to start the first race at 12 noon, and the 'Railway Department is to be asked to furnish special and delayed trains for the meeting. It was also resolved to continue the two inside 10s windows at the totalisatorhouse for the meeting Mr L. Payne was appointed clerk of the course. Account:; amounting to £341 Cs 3d were passed for payment.
