Present indications are for increasing westerly winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and high and squally north-west to south-west winds elsewhere, and expect unsettled, eloudv', and misty weather, with rain generally, aiid heavy rain in Westland and Otago. Electric,l disturbances are probablo in the south. Tile barometer is unsteady with a further falling tendency.
