EVERYBODY',?. LAST NIGHT OF MARY GAiiDEX IN "THE SPLENDID SINNER" The wonderful Mary Garden mads her debut to local picture goers at Everybody's last night in the Goldwyn feature, "The Splendid Sinner " It is a brilliant production, a little daring in places, it is true, but no more so than can be condoned because of the absorbing interest of the story • The war makes the. background for the renunciation and the sacrifices of the principal characters, hut the first and longest part of the story covers society scenes and society doings that are truly on the verge of madness. Supporting films include a newMax Linde,- comedy, "Max Comes Aero**," and the Pathe Gazette. T<inight will be the final screening of select-ion.
